a very exclusive and prestigeous property

An outstanding villa on the Italian Riviera on a dominating crest of a hill overlooking the town of Bordighera, summer home of the Italian Royal family.
The main house is in Renaissance style over three floors with an enormous attic. There is beautiful carved stonework, wooden beams and open fireplaces and the rooms are extensive with fine sea views.
In the grounds is a tower which has been developed into habitable space, two guest houses and private chapel and is surrounded by a huge park which runs towards the sea.
The villa has a spectacular panoramic view of Monte Carlo (20 minutes away), the neighboring South of France and of the medieval village of Bordighera.
Monet painted some of his most famous work, in particular of the old town of Bordighera, from the balconies of this house. The property is situated at 115 mt on the sea, the tower of the Mostaccini, was constructed during the XV - XVI century. It probably served for the bay watching and the sight, but perhaps also for the defense. The used material in order to erect it is the mixed irregularly squared stone to tiles and malt.
